REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of a Criminal Background Check

Completion of the Chaplain's Bachelor Program (Summit Bible College)

Submission of Application and Supporting Documents to Healing Word International

Pass Oral Interview with Credentialling Committee

Submission to Chaplain's Covenant, and Chaplain's Ethics Clause

PROCESS:

Contact Summit Bible College and enroll in the Chaplain's Bachelor Program. This program is available in a classroom setting, as well as in a distance learning format. Summit will complete a criminal background screening, prior to you beginning the classes.

Once you have completed the Bachelor Program, you are then eligible to submit your application to Healing Word International for full Chaplaincy.

If your application is accepted, you will then be required to meet with the credentialling committee who will determine if you meet the qualifications for Chaplaincy. If you meet the requirements, your name is submitted for approval to be included on the eligibility list.

If you are selected from the eligibility list, an ordination ceremony will be held, during which the Board of Directors will lay hands on you and confirm your calling to Chaplaincy and Devine Ordination.

As a Chaplain for Healing Word International, you will be required to enter into the Chaplain's Covenant, and abide by the Chaplain's Ethics Clause.

HEALING WORD INTERNATIONAL in conjunction with SUMMIT BIBLE COLLEGE is presenting the FIRST ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CHAPLAIN'S CONFERENCE, coming in October of 2012. This promises to be a day that will literally change your Christian walk for the better, forever. You will enjoy good food, good fun, good worship, good fellowship, good direction and good inspiration from the Lord. The theme of this conference is found in Romans 8:19-23, "The world awaits the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God."
